About Overnight Camp

When you arrive at Frontier Lodge on the first day of camp, you can expect to be greeted by our excited staff who spend their year prayerfully awaiting your arrival. We strive to keep Christ at the heart of everything we do at camp. Our cabin and program staff spend their days deeply caring for their campers and making sure their needs (spiritual, emotional, physical) are met. Each camper will make themselves at home in a cabin with approximately 5-6 other campers, overseen by their Counselors. Campers sleep in bunk beds and often have late night talks with their friends and flash lights.

Upon arrival at camp, each camper has the opportunity to choose a few of the activities he/she will get to engage in throughout the week. We have something for any camper with diverse interests. Get ready to catch up with old camp friends and meet new ones, sing loudly, try new things, rest, and discover more about who Jesus is!

Sunday Check-in

Sunday Check-in happens between 3:30-5:00pm, giving families time to drive down to camp in the afternoon, and head home before evening.

Camper Mail

Many families enjoy leaving small care packages or letters for their children to open during the week. Families are invited to leave mail with our staff at check-in. We require that families label all mail with their child’s full name, and day they wish for item to be delivered.

Calling Home

Families who wish to speak to their child throughout the week are required to send their child with a calling card. Campers are permitted to use their calling card to call home on our camp payphone during their free time.

Sat. Check-out

Saturday Check-out happens between 9:00-11:00am. All campers must be picked up before 11am.

Rest Day

All campers will return home on Saturday morning. If campers are staying for two consecutive weeks, they must go home for the weekend and return on Sunday afternoon. This break allows campers to rest after a busy week, spend time with their family, and get ready for their next week of camp.

Tuck Shop

The Tuck Shop is our camp store. The Tuck Shop is open every afternoon (Monday-Friday) in between activities for campers to purchase snacks and camp merchandise. Campers and families can always purchase Frontier Lodge t-shirts, hoodies, water bottles, and lanyards!
