LIT Discipleship Program

Are you looking to learn how Jesus makes sense of this world?
Are you looking to have a deeper understanding of what His vision is for this world?
Do you want to know how you can participate in moving that vision forward?

This summer, we are offering 4 sessions of 1-week camps that will give you the opportunity to develop a fuller understanding of the answers to these questions. We are inviting those that are serious about their faith to participate in one of our camps this summer. We are inviting the Lord to meet us there too. We pray that this week of camp will be a fun, transformative time, as you grow into the person God is making you in to!

This week will be great for those who are participating in ministries at their church or would like to be a camp leader next summer when we return to our normal camp programs. This week will also be formative for those who just want to be able to share their faith with friends.

There will be some things that are the same as our usual camps and some things that are different. Our camps this summer will be different since we will be a smaller group, we will clean for ourselves (cabins, grounds, bathrooms, and kitchen), and do work jobs around camp. The fun we have as we do these jobs and live life together will be the same as usual!

Our days will include two sessions with discussions and a speaker or video. Each day we will have time to spend with our friends, go for a hike, hang out on the waterfront, or go tubing & water skiing. You’ll also get to see our new gym facility and art center being built! The intent of the week is to live life together, grow in our knowledge and faith in Jesus, and be transformed into the people He is making us into.

We have a limited number of spots for each week, so you’ll need to apply to take part in one of these of sessions. Applications for our 2021 LIT Discipleship Program open on Wednesday May 26th at 5pm. Once we receive your application, you can expect to hear from us within a couple of days.

COVID-19 Measures

You may be wondering how this will be possible given the current Covid-19 measures that are in place. We want you to know that the health and safety of our camp family is our priority. We will be following all the protocols and measures for camps this summer as we aim to get some youth back down to Frontier this year!

Although these measures could loosen before the start of our camps, as of now the government is requiring the following measures:

– Participants will need to isolate 5 days prior to arriving at camp if they have not received a first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine
– Participants will need to receive a negative PCR Covid-19 test result within 48 hours of the start of their camp
– Participants will be screened for symptoms daily
– Participants will take a rapid Covid-19 test on the 3rd day at camp
– Participants will need to wear a procedure mask when 2m distancing is not possible with other bubbles, indoors and outdoors
– Staff will wear a procedure mask at all times, indoors and outdoors
