Breakaway Fall Retreat is an annual retreat that takes place on Lake Wallace at Frontier Lodge Christian Youth Camp. Our ambition and idea behind this retreat is all about uniting Young People to expose them to God’s Love, his creation & other people that are excited about Jesus.

The idea of the name Breakaway comes from the passage Mark 1:35 & Luke 5:16. Jesus understood the importance of getting away and spending time alone with God. Our desire is that you get away from the busyness of life, school, work & what the world deems important and join us for Christ-centred Weekend. Where we focus our attention on God & realign & relight the passion in life that Jesus desires us to live.

If you are a teen between the ages of 12 and 17 then this retreat is for you!! If you are older, we are always looking for volunteers, because it takes a lot of great people to pull off an amazing Fall Retreat!

Transportation To Camp

Frontier Lodge provides round-trip bus transportation to and from camp from the West Island of Montreal. Upon arrival at the bus, find our staff member to check-in your child. *Please make sure your teen does not have lice, any illness, or fever before bringing them to the bus location.

Round Trip

You can sign up for the bus when registering for the weekend. The cost is $60. Once a registration is submitted, the bus can only be added through the office. Spaces are limited.

*Please make sure all youth eat supper before boarding the bus. The first snack campers will receive is around 9:30PM.

Sibling Discount

We offer a $45 sibling discount to assist in making Breakaway more affordable for families with multiple teens.
For the discount to be applied to the second child, families must register all their kids at the same time. If you add a teen at a later date, please contact the FL office to manually apply the sibling discount. The discounts will be applied at checkout.

*Our sibling discount cannot be combined with any other type of scholarship/EB discount.

Keynote Speaker - Timothy Wiesner

Timothy Wiesner is a dynamic, 22 year old follower of Jesus!

While he is currently in full-time seminary, more than anything Tim has desired to see young people fall in love with Christ both across the globe, and more specifically in Montreal with the MYU Jesus Nights program!

He loves anything nature related, loves deep dives in niche Biblical passages and loves to go on long prayer-runs! Ask him questions about God or challenge him to a sports match!

Scholarships

Rustic Cabin Accommodations

This weekend we’ll be camping out in rustic camp cabins! Everyone must bring their own bedding, pillows and towels. The cabins are not heated, so we recommend that everyone bring warm clothes for sleeping, and an extra blanket. We’ll send you the weather forecast before the weekend to help you pack!

Breakaway Staff Applications

We are looking for post-secondary students or working young adults to be cabin leaders for Breakaway Fall Retreat! If you are interested in volunteering in this way, please submit a staff application at the link below. *If you have already been hired as an FL Staff for the 2025 summer season, please contact the office to inquire about availability and needs for the weekend instead of completing a new application.
