What is Breakaway?

One weekend. Old friends. New friends. Camp vibes. Jesus at the center.

Each fall, teens from across Quebec come together at Frontier Lodge for a weekend filled with friendship, fun, worship, teaching, and time to grow closer to Jesus. Whether you’re coming with your youth group, bringing a few friends, or showing up ready to meet new people, there’s a place for you at Breakaway.

This is more than a weekend away!

At Breakaway, we’re asking bigger questions. Who is Jesus? What does it mean to follow Him? And what does following Jesus actually look like in everyday life?

Through engaging teaching, worship, small groups, and conversations with leaders, you’ll have space to explore your faith—whether you’ve been following Jesus for years or you’re still figuring out what you believe.

You don’t have to have all the answers. Just come ready to listen, ask questions, and take the next step!

Keynote Speaker

Caleb Hall, Keynote Speaker

Caleb has been married to wife Brianna for 10 years, and has 3 kids: Nathan, Samuel, McKinley.

Caleb was the Associate Pastor at Hespeler Baptist Church in Cambridge, ON for a little over 10 years. Prior to that, he led the youth ministry at HBC for a little over 10 years.

Caleb now works at Heritage College and Seminary where he is thrilled to see young men and women trained for ministry in their local church.

Transportation To Camp

Frontier Lodge provides round-trip bus transportation to and from camp from the West Island of Montreal. Upon arrival at the bus, find our staff member to check-in your child. *Please make sure your teen does not have lice, any illness, or fever before bringing them to the bus location.

Round Trip

You can sign up for the bus when registering for the weekend. The cost is $60 + tax. Once a registration is submitted, the bus can only be added through the office. Spaces are limited.

Friday Drop-off

6:00PM @ Back of Walmart Parking Lot

*Please make sure all youth eat supper before boarding the bus. The first snack campers will receive is around 9:30PM.

Sunday Pick-up

Sibling Discount & Scholarships

We offer a $45 sibling discount to assist in making Breakaway more affordable for families with multiple teens.
For the discount to be applied to the second child, families must register all their kids at the same time. If you add a teen at a later date, please contact the FL office to manually apply the sibling discount. The discounts will be applied at checkout.

*Our sibling discount cannot be combined with any other type of scholarship/EB discount.

Rustic Cabin Accommodations

This weekend we’ll be camping out in rustic camp cabins! Everyone must bring their own bedding, pillows and towels. The cabins are not heated, so we recommend that everyone bring warm clothes for sleeping, and an extra blanket. We’ll send you the weather forecast before the weekend to help you pack!

Breakaway Staff Applications

We are looking for post-secondary students or working young adults to be cabin leaders for Breakaway Fall Retreat! If you are interested in volunteering in this way, please submit a staff application at the link below. *If you have already been hired as an FL Staff for the 2026 summer season, please contact the office to inquire about availability and needs for the weekend instead of completing a new application.
