Our desire is to bring post-secondary young adults from across the province together to experience God's creation, His love, and a community of other people that are excited about pursuing a life filled with Christ.
Our weekend together will include messages from an engaging speaker, powerful worship, and thought provoking seminars. We’ll have a Café open, to gather around coffee or tea while spending time together and talking about life. There will be lots of opportunities to hangout by the waterfront, and enjoy swimming, boating, and tubing. We’ll have organized group games and sports tournaments, board games, and more!
Check-in on Friday begins at 7pm
Cabin accommodations will be assigned for all young adults during check-in on Friday night. The girls will be staying in cabins on the east side of camp, and the boys will be staying on the west side of camp. To enrich the atmosphere and goal of the weekend, married couples are encouraged to spend the daytime together, but will sleep in separate cabins for the weekend.
Andy Smits is currently the P2C-Students National Director of Québec and got involved with Power to Change while he was a student first at Algonquin College, and then at Carleton University in Ottawa. Along with his wife Loni, he joined staff with Power to Change in 2003 and was sent to Montreal to be part of the team that launched the campus ministry in that city. Over the past 8 years in Montreal, Andy & Loni have continued to grow in their love for their Lord, for students, and for the language and culture of their adopted province of Québec!
Today Andy is responsible for launching movements of spiritual multiplication on campuses across Quebec. He has the privilege of serving an incredibly talented team of staff and students who believe that God wants to move in significant ways in our prodigal province.
Andy and Loni are the proud parents of Matthew, Dahlia, Olivia, and Zachary, and are excited to watch their kids grow up bi-culturally and bilingually in Montreal.
