During this time of social distancing, we want to encourage you and your family with some online resources! Below you can find links to church websites, speakers, times of worship, children’s videos and activities to keep your kids busy. We’ll try to keep adding to this page as the weeks go on!
** Please note that we do not own these resources and we have not been paid to share them. We simply want to encourage your family, and connect you to a few of the things these churches and organizations are doing!
Online Church Services
Many churches are turning to social media platforms to gather together online. Here are links to some of our local churches who are posting live stream or pre-recorded videos in place of weekly gatherings!
Micah Mac is taking this time while EVERYONE is on their phones scrolling, to share hope and encouragement, and to build community. You can follow Micah’s messages and videos on Instagram and Facebook.
We have really appreciated the raw teachings Micah has shared with us the past two summers at Sr Camp. We want to share some of his 2019 night sessions with you. If you were at camp last summer, these recordings will bring you right back to your seat in the Dining Hall, and what you were working through – remember those commitments you made. Some of you will be hearing them for the first time, and we hope that they can bring truth to you today.

Terra Nova Youth Rally
***Keep in mind for when the social distancing is over – a community your teens could be a part of!
“Youth Rally is a vibrant and fun evening that happens at Terra Nova every 2nd Friday night of the month (7:00pm – 10:00 pm). At youth rally, youth from different churches and schools come together for fun games, good food, an amazing worship time together and a teaching time. Youth develop and deepen friendships at youth rally and grow in their understanding of who God is, His love for them and His purpose for their lives.”
“Often introduced as an expert on media influences, Brett Ullman travels North America speaking to adolescents, leaders and their parents… With a speaking history spanning more than twelve years, Worlds Apart has reached hundreds of thousands of young people, youth workers and parents across North America; challenging individuals to carefully examine the ways each of us respond and interact with modern media. Worlds Apart speaks with courage and conviction on sensitive, current issues affecting youth including self-injury, suicide, substance abuse, sexuality, music and faith in our modern age.”

For parents and teens:
We were first introduced to LifeTeams at a conference in Montreal for youth workers, and we have been blessed to have them join us in training our camp staff for the past 2 years during our Training Week! Their mission is “engaging the people of God with vulnerable youth in a way that will transform both in the process.”
LifeTeams has many free online resources for youth and for parents on various issues, faith, and skills. They provide videos and helpsheets to help us be more equipped to in understanding various conflicts in that we can struggle with in this life. They also offer some additional tools that can be purchased through their website.
